GREEN EYES

Enhance and promote your unique green eyes!

Green eyes are also primarily the result of a genetic mutation that occurred thousands of years ago. Like blue eyes, green eyes result from a reduction in the amount of melanin in the iris, allowing light to scatter and reflect off the collagen fibers in the stroma. This scattering of light creates the appearance of green eyes. Green eyes are less common globally compared to brown eyes but more prevalent than blue eyes. They are found in individuals of various ethnic backgrounds but are most commonly associated with people of European descent, particularly those from Northern and Central Europe. Estimates suggest that approximately 2% of the world's population has green eyes, ranging from a light, almost grayish-green to a deep, vivid green.
