BLACK-DARK BROWN EYES

Enhance and promote your unique dark brown eyes!

"Black eyes" as a natural eye color do not exist in humans. When people refer to "black eyes," they are often referring to eyes that appear very dark or almost black in certain lighting conditions.

The appearance of dark eyes is primarily due to the amount and distribution of melanin pigment in the iris. Melanin is the same pigment that determines skin and hair color, and it also plays a role in eye color. In individuals with very dark eyes, the iris contains a high concentration of melanin, which absorbs more light and appears darker.

Under normal lighting conditions, even eyes that appear very dark will typically show some coloration, such as brown, deep brown, or a combination of dark hues. However, in certain lighting conditions, such as low light or shadow, the pupil may dilate and cover more of the iris, making the iris appear darker and potentially giving the impression of "black eyes."
